The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf of the Georgia Department of Driver Services (Using Agency or DDS), is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing general contractor services for the construction of a project known as Project DDS-020, New Customer Service Center located in Hazlehurst, Georgia (Project) The New Customer Service Center in Hazlehurst, Georgia will be a new 4,224 gross sf ground up facility. The new building will function as a center for the public to come and obtain and renew their drivers licenses. There will be a Queuing Area with various selfservice kiosks and six issuance stations. The interior spaces will include a queuing space, public restrooms, issuance area, testing room, kiosks, and an administrative area for the DDS staff. The administrative area will include offices, staff restrooms, a beak room, janitors closet, and various utility rooms. Throughout both the public and staff areas of the building, there will be various circulation spaces to include vestibules and corridors. There will be a front entrance canopy, composed of prefinished metal, and a large drive through testing canopy, composed of brick veneer and exterior insulating finish system (EIFS) on wall construction as described below. At each personnel door, there will also be a small prefinished metal canopy.
