The project scope is to complete a 4 thick concrete sidewalk within a 5-foot wide strip between the existing curb and the existing sidewalk along the frontage of the parcel at the southeast corner of Marina Boulevard and Buena Vista Avenue. Compacted Class 2 Aggregate Base (AB) structural section on which concrete is to be poured is pre-existing. The project location is specifically along the west side of Marina Boulevard from Buena Vista Avenue to a point approximately 300 feet to the south, as well as along the south side of Buena Vista Avenue from Marina Boulevard to a point approximately 500 feet to the east. For bonding purposes, the Engineers Estimate is $85,000. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. The deadline to submit questions is 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, unless subsequently modified by the City by addendum. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. All proposals shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The City of Suisun City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or informality in the bidding.
