BIDDERS: Spencer Contracting $104.50 Per Ton Jokerst $109.00 Per Ton City of De Soto Project No. AO-2023 consists of the placement Asphalt Overlay on the following street locations: E Kelley to Moulton at the dead end, Olive Street from North Main Street to North 7th Street, Essex Street from North Main to North 7th Street. Allen Place from North 5th Street to North 6th Street. Parking area 2nd Street at Easton. Pricing involving indexing will not be considered. In an effort to minimize damage to existing streets, loads shall be limited to a maximum of fifteen (15) tons per truck. If any employee fails to complete the program within sixty (60) days of the start of the project or within twenty (20) days of being found on the worksite without documentation, the contractor shall forfeit as a penalty to the City of De Soto two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) plus one hundred dollars ($100) for each employee employed by the contractor or subcontractor, for each calendar day, or portion thereof, such employee is employed without the required training. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "2023 Asphalt Overlay Bids". (Faxed bids will not be acceptable). Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond.
