A 5% bid bond for the proposed bid amount must accompany each bid. A 100% payment and performance bond will be required by the successful bidder when a contract is awarded for the project. Both the bid bond and the payment bond shall be written by a Surety Company listed by the United States Department of the Treasury (Federal Register Circular 570) as an acceptable surety on Federal Bonds and shall hold a B+ or better rating by A.M. Best Co., Oldwick, N.J. If this project is approved by the Board of Trustees, the District is expecting the work to take place starting on August 28, 2023 and must be completed by February 20, 2024 School District reserves the right to waive formalities and/or irregularities and to accept or reject any/each item separately or as a whole.
