**As of August 21 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** A. Installation of roadway re-striping and pavement markings on approximately 20.29 miles of various roadways throughout Carroll County. B. Regular and Uniform Bid: Each contractor must comply with all requirements as directed or required by this notice. Notice is hereby given to all contractors that if their bids are defective or irregular, the same may be rejected immediately. To facilitate comparative analysis and evaluation of bids, it is desired that a uniform format be employed in structuring each bid. All instructions are to be considered an integral part of this Invitation to Bid. C. Firm Price: Prices quoted by contractor shall be firm prices, and not subject to increase during the schedule hereinafter set-forth and shall not include Federal or State Tax. D. Security: Accompany bid with a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit to Carroll County a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount in the form attached hereto. Surety companies executing Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia.
