The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for lead-paint abatement and painting the exterior of a water gate on the Madawaska Rivier Dam MRH1. Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, by email at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125. A Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price, or a certified cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act and the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act, (OC 2021-273) including the requirement a Labour and Material Payment Bond in substantially the same form as Form 18 and a Performance Bond in substantially the same form as Form 19 of the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted. awrd is subject to final approval.
