The City of Glendale is currently accepting bid proposals for the North Brand Boulevard Complete Streets Demonstration Project, Specification No. 3942. Phase 1: Removing existing striping, pavement markings, crosswalks/continental crosswalks; and installing signs, K-71 bollards, tuff posts, bike racks, detectable surface, temporary planters, concrete K-rail, pavement markings, striping, continental cross walks, painted bumpouts, and detector loops. Phase 2: Removing striping, pavement markings, signs, crosswalks, K-71 bollards, tuff posts, detectable surface, temporary planters, concrete K-rail; and installing striping, pavement markings, continental crosswalks and detector loops. Pursuant to Section 3300, of the Public Contract Code, the classification of the bidder's Contractor's License shall be "Class A" Failure of a bidder to obtain adequate licensing at the time the contract is awarded shall constitute a failure to execute the Contract and shall result in the forfeiture of the Bidder's Bond. For federally funded projects, the Contractor shall be properly licensed at the time of award.
