Description of the Goods and/or Services: Wheel Shop Envelope Project. The North Bay Wheelhouse is a facility that is part of the North Bay Shops, a complex that is located at 915/916 McIntyre St. E, North Bay, ON. The building is generally a single-storey machine shop that partially has an elevated roof. The building was constructed in 1951 and is approximately 836 Sq. M. (8,995 Sq. Ft.). The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: Perform repairs to the brick and concrete, Relocate and/or replace mechanical and electrical services as shown, Supply and install new framing, Supply and install new windows; new man-doors, and rollup doors. Interior repairs to accommodate the exterior work. Supply and install new siding and spray foam insulation. Supply and install new interior/exterior lighting as shown on the drawings. Supply and install air conditioning in areas of the building replacing window air conditioners. Install bollards and guardrails to protect building from physical damage. Follow the staging plan as shown. Any deviation(s) must be first approved by ONTC. Removal of designated substances Optional price to complete ventilation as shown in J.L. Richards The work to be done by December 1, 2023. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
