Remove and replace existing metal roofing system and ventilation units. Verify insulation integrity and replace/upgrade as required to address damaged insulation and current building codes/UFCs. Dispose of construction debris at approved off base disposal site. See attached Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings and Specifications for more details. Sustainable principles, to include life cycle cost-effectiveness practices, will be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project in accordance with UFC 1-200-02. The project site is located at the 911th AW (AFRC), Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, 2375 Defense Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Total contract performance period is 180 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. The award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The NAICS Code is 238160; the Size Standard is $19 million average annual receipts over the past three years. SITE VISIT A pre-bid conference and site visit will be conducted on Thursday, 3 August 2023 at 9:30 a.m. EST. Building 333 Conference Room (Civil Engineering), 911 AW, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Site visits will follow the pre-bid conference. Information provided at this site visit, as well as answers to questions, shall not change /qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.
