Verbal clarifications given during the Bid process will be considered unofficial. The RTAA shall not be held responsible for oral interpretations. The effect of all addenda to the Bid documents shall be considered in the Bid, and any addenda issued shall become an integral part of the ITB. The Contractor shall be required to acknowledge receipt of addenda by signing in blue or black ink and including in the Bid submittal. All Contractors are responsible for monitoring the NGEM website regarding the availability of new Bid documents or addenda (where applicable). It is the responsibility of all potential Contractors to monitor the NGEM website for any changing information prior to submitting their Bid. The RTAA will not be responsible for the timeliness or completeness of information provided by any third-party bid listing or re-selling service. The RTAA will not be responsible for the results of any potential failures in automatic notification systems to potential Contractors with respect to these documents and will not adjust Bid schedules or requirements due to any failures of those systems. The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed bids (Bid) from qualified contractors (Contractor) to reconstruct asphaltic concrete (AC) paving, concrete, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drain improvements, pavement markings, and ancillary work associated with RTAA Air Cargo Way Reconstruction (Project). If awarded, a contract (Contract) will be effective on the date the Contract is approved by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signed by all required parties, and filed with the Director of Contracts & Procurement. However, the RTAA reserves the right to not award a contract for any work herein; issuance of this ITB does not guarantee any subsequent award. Furthermore, the RTAA reserves the right to hire any additional contractors or consultants as needed at its discretion. It is the intent of the RTAA to select a qualified Contractor licensed to work in the State of Nevada to reconstruct asphaltic concrete (AC) paving, concrete, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drain improvements, pavement markings, and ancillary work associated with RTAA Air Cargo Way Reconstruction, and to provide all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits and fees, utilities required, and all incidental items necessary to provide the scope of work entitled "RTAA Air Cargo Way Reconstruction" per the drawings, plans, and specifications provided herein as Attachment D, Special Conditions, subject to all terms and conditions contained in this ITB. The Bidder should ensure that the thumb drive is not corrupted, or password protected, and contains the entire ITB response.
