Reference Number 0000324399 construction managers and other businesses for the Construct Taxiway A - Phase 3 (Project) at Willow Run Airport (YIP). This project includes work associated with relocation of the FAA owned Automated Surface Observation Systems (ASOS) and replacement of the FAA owned Remote Transmitter/Receiver (RTR) facility. The ASOS relocation consists of installation of new foundations, site work, electrical, restoration, equipment relocation and demolition of the existing site. The replacement of the RTR consists of installation of new foundations, site work, procurement and installation of a tower, installation of FAA provided shelter, electrical, restoration, equipment relocation and demolition of the existing site including HAZMAT abatement. It is anticipated that this Project will start construction in the spring of 2024, and be completed during the construction season of 2024, and be partially funded through the federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and/or Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). (The Contract resulting from this solicitation is subject to Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Wage Requirements.)
