The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a 56'x72' (4,032 s.f.) fire station in North Anson, Maine. Bids are requested for the following Contract: North Anson Fire Station Project The Owner expects the building to be dried in by Dec. 31, 2023 and completed by June 30, 2024. The Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Payment and Performance Bonds will need to be provided at Contract Signing as described in the Contract Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, Pig iron and direct reduced iron, and [add project specific waivers as applicable]. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids Document Acquisition: Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Shipping costs will be $10 per set of bidding documents mailed.
