The City has secured a ZREC tariff for up to 249 kW-AC of photovoltaic solar under Year 10 of the state's ZREC Program. In addition to the rooftop solar photovoltaic system, the City also seeks a bid alternate that includes a battery energy storage system (BESS) that will participate in the Energy Storage Solutions Program, administered by the Connecticut Green Bank (CTGB) and Eversource. Question Deadline 07/21/2023 at 4:00 PM ET End of Question Period: Bidders may submit written questions to the RFP Administrators at projects@solar-rfp.com and Joshua Montague at jmontague@newlondonct.org no later than 4:00 pm. Bid bonds, performance bonds, and labor and material bonds will be required as specified below. Guaranty or surety may be in the form of certified check. Bid Bond Ten percent (10%) due at time of bid for all contract services and public works/construction projects that exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) Performance Bond One hundred percent (100%) of contract price for projects that exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00). Labor and Material Payment Bonds One hundred percent (100%) of contract price for projects that exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00)
