The City of Victoria is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Victoria has received a Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) from the General Land Office to purchase homes affected by flooding from Hurricane Harvey. The City of Victoria is seeking to contract with multiple qualified demolition contractors (individual/firm) to assist in demolishing 7 to 9 homes to provide relief for survivors affected by repetitive flooding. These homes are located in the City of Victoria. This service is for the City s grant #20-066-007-C041, which will use federal funds to acquire these properties The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Crockett County Government, TN, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All bidders are required to comply with General Licensing Act of 1976, also known as Tennessee House Bill No. 2180 and T.C.A. 62-6-119 of 1994.
