The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of the Base Bid. Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation. Deadline for requests for clarifications and questions. Any possible exceptions to the bid specifications and/or terms and conditions should be addressed during this phase. These requests will be answered in an addendum and must be emailed to: purchasing@co.henry.ga.us 3:00 PM July 5, 2023 All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Henry County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) calendar days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The Bid Bond shall be in the form of a surety issued bond made payable to the Henry County Board of Commissioners. The Surety Company shall be licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, latest edition. The Surety Company shall have an A.M. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities. The Work on this project shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of the written Notice to Proceed.
