Erosion Control Services DWMR is seeking a firm that is experienced in the hydroseed application of seed mixes for erosion control purposes. The scope of work under this agreement will consist of: A. Preparation: Annually, prior to notification by DWMR that hydroseeding services are needed, the erosion control firm project manager shall perform a site walk with the DWMR Project Manager to review the areas requiring erosion control and discuss any surface preparation and/or soil amendment that may be appropriate for certain problem area. The erosion control firm shall procure seed, fertilizer, fiber, tackifier, and any other material components of the hydroseeding mix so as to be on-hand prior to notice to proceed with work. B. Submittals: All material components of the hydroseeding mix shall be documented through the submittal process. Provide material information sheets identifying manufacturer, material type or model, material properties, dates of manufacturing, and any applicable certificates of compliance. C. Coordination: Following notification of hydroseeding services needed at KLF, the erosion control firm shall coordinate their work schedule with the DWMR project manager. Additionally, the staging area and water supply availability shall be reviewed and agreed upon. D. Hydroseeding: On the coordinated day, the erosion control firm shall mobilize to the KLF with materials and equipment. The crew foreman shall meet with the DWMR project manager to review the application areas and conduct a drive-around to confirm access to the hydroseeding areas.
