The work generally includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the replacement of approximately 3,900 LF of 8-inch diameter CLDIP water main, water services, roadway reconstruction and paving and all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans for the Water Main Replacement at East Woodbury, in the Township of Deptford. The sanitary sewer rehabilitation work generally includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the cleaning and CIPP lining of approximately 2,600 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer, replacement of sanitary sewer laterals and all work set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation at East Woodbury, in the Township of Deptford. The Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority. Bids must be on the bid form prepared by Bach Associates, PC, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. Said bids shall be addressed to Ms. Roberta Maronski, Executive Secretary, Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority, 898 Cattell Road, Wenonah, New Jersey 08090. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and DavisBacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
