Reference number : 1741220 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-07-19 Submission sent electronically accepted: No GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTRACT This call for tenders concerns the pre-selection of process equipment for the construction project of a new wastewater treatment plant for the City of Saint-Lin-Laurentides (STEP Saint-Lin-Laurentides). More specifically, this call for tenders (phase 1A) includes process equipment for the pre-treatment chain. The pre-selection of process equipment for the primary and secondary treatment chain as well as sludge dewatering and tertiary treatment is included in the phase 1B and phase 1C tenders respectively. PROCESS OF THE CONTRACT The project will be carried out in two (2) phases, with the first equipment pre-selection phase subdivided into three separate lots, namely: o Phase 1 - Phase 1A (this call for tenders) Call for tenders for the supply, transport and delivery of pre-treatment equipment and its accessories, as well as the inspection of the installation of this equipment, its start-up, staff training, performance testing and support for stakeholders. The planned equipment is fine screens and their compactor-scrubber, a sand trap and its classifier. - Phase 1B Call for tenders for the supply, transport and delivery of primary treatment, secondary treatment and sludge dewatering equipment, as well as all required accessories, inspection of the installation of this equipment, their start-up , staff training, performance testing and responder support. - Phase 1C Call for tenders for the supply, transport and delivery of tertiary treatment equipment and its accessories, as well as the inspection of the installation of this equipment, its start-up , staff training, testing performance and support for stakeholders. The equipment provided is UV lamps for water disinfection. o Phase 2 (subsequent stage to this call for tenders) Call for tenders for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant, as well as the supply and installation of related equipment not covered by phase 1. Phase 2 will also include the installation of equipment provided by the successful tenderers of Phase 1 tenders. LOCATION OF WORKS The existing WWTP in Saint-Lin-Laurentides is located at 256 chemin de l'Usine, Saint-Lin- Laurentides, Quebec, J5M 2W2, in the MRC de Montcalm. The land adjacent to the WWTP consists of cultivated agricultural fields and a waste snow dump. The location of the new WWTP will be on adjacent land behind the existing WWTP.
