Bids must be made on the standard bid proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the names of the project and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to the Board of County Commissioners of Middlesex County, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check, or bid bond for not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000 and be delivered at the place and on the hours above mentioned. A consent of surety letter from a responsible Bonding Company must be included in the bid as per Article 102.09. An entity/corporation submitting a bid in response to this advertisement shall accompany such a bid with a resolution authorizing said individual/officer to execute a contract in the event its bid is accepted. Bidders are required to comply with the current applicable prevailing wage reporting rules. After notification of award, but prior to signing a construction contract with the County, the Contractor who is the lowest responsible bidder on the project, shall submit Manning Table Form AA201 (Construction) to the Affirmative Action Office, Department of the Treasury, CN 209, Trenton, NJ 08625-0209. A copy of the Contractor's letter directing said form(s) to the Affirmative Action Office must be supplied to the County at the time same is sent. A Contractor's award shall be rescinded if the Contractor fails to submit the above within two weeks from the award resolution.
