The project would consist of the replacement of approximately 180 feet each of underground steam pipe (3" NPS) and condensate pipe (1-1/2" NPS) from the boiler house to the Mechanical Services Building (MSB). The work required would include all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, supervision, testing, and incidentals needed to complete excavation, removal, replacement, insulation, and backfilling for the pipes and accouterments. Contractor would be responsible for seeding the disturbed grassed area over the excavated area. The contractor would conduct utility location by a qualified service prior to performing any excavation.
