The project involves performing excavation and paving items per plans and specifications. Plans are attached as Drawings G01-G03, PH-01, C-01-C-03. There will be an add bid item for Alternate#1 for adding 1" of HMA at Road 33. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (509) 547-3378. Tracy Friesz Facilities Engineer Work will begin within 10 days after the execution of the contract, and require completion not to exceed 30 calendar days. Note: Contractor will have option of starting project any time from August through October to suit contractors' availability to perform project work. Final completion of project will have to be completed by October 31, 2023. There will not be any escalation in contract pricing for material or labor increase if contractor decides to start project later in the year from award date of contract. Contractor shall give Port a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to start of work for notifying tenants. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond made payable to the Port of Pasco for an amount equal to at least 5% of the total base bid amount shall accompany each bid. The Port of Pasco reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid, or in the bidding, and to accept or reject any bid for reasons based solely on considerations for the best interests of the Port of Pasco.
