The City of Denton, Texas (the "City") is pleased to be accepting proposals and qualifications for a Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") to provide, without limitation, material, labor, equipment, supervision, and other services ("the Work") for its PCWRP Headworks Project. The City will be using a one-step selection process in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, to select a single entity to provide pre-construction and construction services, using a Construction Manager at Risk contract. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 7/26/2023 06:00:00 PM (ET) The Pecan Creek Water Reclamation Plant is over 60 years old and needs a larger headworks facility. Current capacity is limited because of the size of the current headworks facility. The PCWRP needs expansion and has applied to the TCEQ to amend the current discharge permit. It has been determined by the Facility Master Plan and City Staff that the project shall include the following: A new headworks facility that will be rated for 75 MGD peak flow conditions Lift station, coarse screens, grit removal and fine screens. Approximately 7,250 LF of new sanitary sewer interceptors 2,100 LF of force main Electrical/SCADA improvements Various site improvements. The CITY evaluated multiple locations for the new headworks facility as part of the WRP Facilities Master Plan and selected the location for the new headworks facility for this project.
