Highlands County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) companies to provide services during the design, bid/award, construction, and County occupancy phases for construction projects countywide with a construction value up to $2,000,000 or rehabilitation or renovations costing up to $1,000,000. An example of project types may include, but are not limited to: Window hardening Roof replacement Facility remodel Pre-fabricated building installation Generator Electrical Construction Plumbing HVAC Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act or CCNA), the Board of County Commissioners, Highlands County, Florida, and the Board of County Commissioners sitting as the Board of Supervisors of various Special Benefit Districts of Highlands County, Florida, hereby gives notice that it intends to award a professional services agreement for the work specified RFP 20-039- LKD Construction Manager at Risk Continuing Services Library, and seeks responses for the acquisition of construction manager at risk services within the described scope of services.
