Oak Valley Bridge Replacement FEMA Project. The existing cross drain (2-48" RCP pipes) will be removed and replaced with a "Conspan ALBC #87" Bridge Structure to re-establish the design flow capacity and reduce the potential for future overtopping and flooding during storm events. To repair/upgrade the system, it will be necessary to remove the cross drain system and replace it with the aforementioned bridge structure, regrade/stabilize the upstream and downstream areas within the right-of-way, remove and replace the roadway, guardrail, curb inlets, storm sewer piping, waterline, gas line, and inspect in-place storm sewer for damage. In addition to the new bridge structure, articulated concrete block will be put in place on the upstream and downstream sides of the bridge to prevent scour in the future. Question Submission Deadline:July 18, 2023, 3:00pm Escambia County Business License General or Marine Specialty State Contractors License Underground Utilities License as applicable. All bids will remain subject to acceptance or rejection by Escambia County for ninety (90) calendar days after the day of the bid opening. The County may, in its sole discretion, release any bid and return the bid security prior to the end of this period. Escambia County specifically reserves the right to reject any conditional or incomplete bid. The County reserves the right to add or delete any item(s) from this bid or resulting contract when deemed to be in the County's best interest. Work Zone Safety Traffic Supervisor Certifications as applicable. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in bids to reject any or all bids with or without cause and accept the bid that in its judgment is in the best interest of the County. The entire project shall be completed in the time frame specified in the scope of work.
