As of August 9, 2023, the project has not been awarded. The project is scheduled to be considered for award on August 14, 2023. The Project generally consists of the replacement of approximately 1,300 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main, replacement of 10 residential sewer laterals, and pavement restoration. The project is located along Heidelberg Heights Road in Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County PA. The Work will be performed under one Contract. Clarification Deadline: 7/14/2023 4:00 PM A pre-bid meeting will not be held; site visits are to be self-guided. After the Bid opening, Bids may be withdrawn only by complying with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws and regulations. A summary of such laws and regulations is given in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid results will be made available through PennBid. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. The Contract will be subject to the prevailing minimum wage determination established by the Department of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or Bid bond (in the required form) for 10 percent of the Bid total. Lehigh County Authority reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid.
