1. The Contractor shall provide all necessary chemicals, labor, and supervision to conduct preventive maintenance and sanitization on the facility owned Cooling Tower and Chilled Water Loop Systems. 2. The contractor shall maintain the chlorine meter at the Cooling Tower. 3. The contractor shall provide a quote for failed equipment to the VA prior to purchasing/installing. No repair work outside of the scope of this work statement shall be performed without a separate purchase order for the additional work from a Contracting Officer or authorized credit card holder for work under $2,500.00. 4. The Contractor shall develop and implement a Cooling Tower Disinfection Treatment to Prevent Legionella spp. more than one unnamed species). All questions will be answered via Solicitation amendment. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist at the following e-mail: Tracy.Granger@va.gov no later than July 11, 2023, by 9:00 AM EDT. This procurement is for Chiller Plant Water Treatment Services. The procurement is being conducted under FAR 12 & 13.5. The contractor must sign the 852.219-75 Certification for sub-contracting.
