Construction work, in general, consists of new construction of a 11,278 square foot library. Slab on grade with spread footing foundation system, wood framing, wood trusses, asphalt shingles with storefront entry and fixed windows. Entry includes a timber frame feature, cultured stone, stucco and cement board siding are used as exterior wall finish materials. HVAC is provided via rooftop package units, city water and sewer are available adjacent to the site, and new electrical service shall be 400 Amps. Associated site grading, landscape, concrete sidewalks, asphalt pavement and other incidental work. Any bid which does not conform in all material respects to the Bid Documents will be considered non-responsive. Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form(s) included in the Bid Documents; shall be accompanied by a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and shall be included in the bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract to perform the work in accordance with the Bid Documents. Bids will be opened in the City Hall Conference Room, 119 East First Street, Winslow, Arizona 86047, and the proposed bid price will be publicly read aloud immediately after the time for receiving bids has expired as set forth above. City reserves the right to award all or part of the bid. A Non-Collusion Affidavit executed by bidder shall be submitted with the bid. Right to Reject Bids: City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid or to withhold the award for any reason City determines.
