Licenses. Each Bidder shall possess a valid Class A Contractor s license issued by California Contractors State License Board at the time of Bid submission and a current City business license at the time of Contract award. Liquidated Damages. Contractor must complete all Work within sixty (60) Working Days of the City s Notice to Proceed. There will be a $3,600.00 assessment for each Calendar Day that Work remains incomplete beyond the Project completion deadline. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security as described in the Instructions to Bidders in the Contract Documents. Upon Contract award, the successful Bidder shall provide both Payment and Performance Bonds each at 100% of the Contract Price Scope of Work As more specifically described in the Contract Documents, the Project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work to resurface of existing asphalt concrete pavement along Hueneme Rd from J St. to Edison Dr. The Work includes the milling of existing asphalt concrete pavement; placement and compaction of asphalt rubberized concrete (ARHM) and micro-surfacing with crack fill; excavation and reconstruction of asphalt pavement failed areas; reconstruction of existing medians; concrete repairs; adjust utility covers to finished grade; removal and replacement of street name signs; and traffic striping. Upon discovering an error, omission, ambiguity or conflict in the Contract Documents, a Bidder may mail, email or personally deliver a written request for clarification or correction to the Project Coordinator Question Deadline 08/05/2023
