The Village of Bedford Park, requests bids to establish a contract for the removal, prep, and installation of an epoxy floor system at Fire Station 3 located at 6799 W. Scope of work includes: o Remove, clean, and reinstall existing trench grates for the duration of epoxy work as required. o Perform all floor grinding of existing quartz flooring as required for suitable adhesion. o Patch all cracks and imperfections. o Furnish and install an epoxy primer layer as required. o Furnish and install a double layer of Sika Quartz FX epoxy body coat as required. o Furnish and install all new sealer coating as required. o Furnish and install all new urethane topcoat as required. o Furnish and install all new refinished cove bases and replace existing damaged cove bases as required. o Installation based on working all areas simultaneously. o Caulk all functional expansion joints with elastomeric sealant, basically all joints between apparatus bay and adjacent side rooms. o Reinstall 2 stripes, Color: Safety Yellow o Dust prevention to be done by Contractor. o Compliance with all Village rules, regulations, and prevailing wage provisions. The Village of Bedford Park reserves the right in receiving these proposals to waive technicalities and to reject any and all proposals.
