Chapel Hill Independent School District will receive sealed proposals for the Asbestos Abatement - Former CB&I Site - New Middle School Campus, 3102 East Fifth Street, Tyler, Texas 75701 project Project is for the removal of all asbestos-containing materials associated with seven (7) buildings. Project contract time is 13-17 weeks. Envelope should be plainly marked in lower left-hand corner: Proposal: Asbestos Abatement Project - Former CB&I Site - New Middle School Campus, 3102 East Fifth Street, Tyler, Texas 75701 The job will be awarded under a lump sump contract. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Chapel Hill ISD. The contract shall include ERI s Technical Specifications and contract conditions. A Cashier s Check or a Certified Check payable to Chapel Hill ISD, or an acceptable Surety Proposal Bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid, including alternates, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds on forms provided as outlined in the Specifications. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. Chapel Hill ISD reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive all bid formalities.
