Valdez Library - Existing controls system shall be demolished in its entirety and replaced with a Distech system, no substitutions. Existing air handling unit 1(AHU-1), including all associated appurtenances, shall be demolished in its entirety and replaced with a new air handling unit called for in the project specifications. The scope of work is more specifically described in the attached drawings and specifications titled "Valdez Library Controls Upgrades". Additive Alternate #1 Valdez Museum - Existing controls system shall be demolished in its entirety and replaced with a Distech system, no substitutions. Existing cooling and dehumidifying system will be demolished in its entirety and replaced with a new system. Baseboard heating system in the original museum area will be demolished or abandoned in place. The heating system will be replaced with a new unit heater and radiant heating panel system. The scope of work is more specifically described in the attached drawings and specifications titled "Valdez Museum HVAC Upgrades". Deadline for all Questions regarding this bid will be 4:00pm Alaska time on July 21, 2023. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid and to reject any and all bids without cause. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. The deadline for questions will be changed to Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 2:00pm
