A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Construction of a new landscape cast stone wall with integrated, stud mounted, bronze letters identifying the Reading Housing Authority Central Administration Building located at 400 Hancock Boulevard in Reading; and a second similar but smaller cast stone wall with similar integrated signage identifying the new off-street parking lot. The required bronze letters, studs, stud sleeves, and template are provided by the Owner and are to be installed by the masonry contractor. 2. Placement and installation of a memorial stone adjacent to the existing RHA flagpole. The work requires excavation, footing construction and installation of a monolithic cast stone unit supplied by the Owner. The required bronze letters, studs, stud sleeves, and template are provided by the Owner and are to be installed by the masonry contractor. 3. Separate but contiguous work includes Owner supplied and installed wall lighting and perimeter landscaping plantings. Excavation, backfill, topsoil placement, preparation, and grading are the responsibilities of the masonry contractor. All requests for information are to be submitted in writing before 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Exterior Sign and Site Improvements of the Central Administration Building. Visitors are to comply with Reading Housing Authority visitation protocols and additional State Department of Health and procedures related to COVID-19 when visiting the Project Site. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for any reason or reasons whatsoever.
