NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Edina is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an Owners Representative/ project management service for the Braemar Ice Arena improvement project. The selected firm is responsible for protecting the interest of the City of Edina during the entire duration of the project from design and construction through commissioning. The selected Owners Representative firm will be responsible for managing and coordination of the Braemar Ice Arena project team which will be comprised of City staff, appointed officials and arena stakeholders. The Owners Representative will assist the City of Edina in determining additional professional services for design and construction. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted by Tuesday July 25, 2023 and the proposal submittal deadline is Tuesday August 10, 2023 by 12:00 PM, delivered to Edina Parks and Recreation Department, 4801 W 50th Street, Edina, MN 55424. Based on facility and programming needs the City of Edina has created an initial Phase I project budget of $13.5 million dollars, which includes all phases of the project from planning to closeout and commissioning. Budget is inclusive of all aspects of design including soft goods, FFE, and any programbased needs. If referendum results are successful, the Phase II project will be an additional $33.3 million dollars, which includes all phases of the project from planning to closeout and commissioning. Budget is inclusive of all aspects of design including soft goods, FFE, and any program-based needs. If the second referendum result is successful, the overall project budget would be $46.8 million dollars combined for both phases of work. Contract terms will be based on AIA Contract C171-2013
