A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Renovation and Construction of the existing library facility in the City of Silver Bay. The project will consist of, but is not limited to: Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Carpentry, Thermal Properties, Openings, Finishes, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Earthwork, Miscellaneous Landscaping and select Civil work, etc. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the net base bid amount, payable to the order of CITY OF SILVER BAY, MN, as warranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the usual Bonds (Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond) as required by the Specifications within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. No Bidder shall modify, withdraw or cancel their Bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the date designated for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder, if in their discretion the interest of the project will be best served thereby. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, and Responsible Contractor Certification.
