This project generally involves replacing three (3) gravity sanitary sewer interceptor sections within the TownshipaEUR(TM)s Skippack Creek Interceptor (SCI) which includes: 356 linear feet of 15-inch diameter cast iron pipe with new ductile iron pipe from MH 512 to 512A to 513; and 320 linear feet of 18-inch diameter cast iron pipe with new ductile iron pipe from MH 509 to 509A. The contract also includes reconnection of laterals, testing, bypass pumping, clearing, and grubbing and restoration within the project area. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the Township of Towamencin along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. Question Deadline 07/21/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Questions will be received at website. The Township of Towamencin reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids of Phase 2 of the Shq'apthut building on VIU's Nanaimo Campus. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids.
