Renovations to the Eastham Town Hall, 2500 State Highway, Eastham, MA 02642. Exterior brick masonry repairs, repointing, and brick replacement, painting, new roofs over existing flat-roofed vaults, rough and exterior finish carpentry, gutters and downspouts, walks and slabs, handrails, HVAC and electrical, and site drainage 1. The Eastham Town Hall was constructed in 1912 as a brick, Colonial Revival building with an open cupola on the roof and an entry portico with pediment. A rear ell was added in 1951 with a rectangular, gable-roofed, perpendicularly-oriented, hip-roofed auditorium. The last addition was constructed in 1994. 2. Renovation construction includes: total building exterior brick masonry repairs, repointing, and brick replacement, painting, new roofs over existing flat-roofed vaults, rough and exterior finish carpentry, gutters and downspouts, walks and slabs, handrails, HVAC and electrical, and site drainage. 3. Project will be constructed under a single contract. See Division 01, Section 011200: "Summary of Multiple Contracts" for a description of work included and for the responsibilities of the Contractor. 4. Site work is limited to work required to construct the new exterior stairs and associated walks, new slab-on-grade, and new drainage system. The Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all existing plantings, shrubs, and miscellaneous plant material within 6 feet of the building face and the placement of fill and loam with seed at disturbed areas and plant (root) removals. New landscaping will be provided under separate contract by the Town of Eastham. 7/20/23 are as included and shown on the Form for General Bid, Item 2. Sub-bids.
