The City of St Charles is requesting bids to provide and install a new manufactured home for temporary housing of Fire Department staff at Fire Station 6. This shall include: o 16' x 76' singlewide manufactured/mobile home o Overall interior area no less than 1,125 square foot o 8' ceiling height o Vinyl tile flooring throughout, no carpeting o 3 bedrooms - 10' x 8' or larger, with closets, all window from bedroom to comply with emergency egress requirements o 2 full bathrooms o Walk in showers o Toilet o Vanity with sink o Mirror o Powered exhaust vent o 40 gallon Hot water heater - electric o Forced air furnace 56,000 BTU's or greater and central air - electric, with programmable thermostat o Overhead light fixture with wall switch in each room o Electric outlets throughout room, standard spacing o Smoke detectors in each bedroom, one in the hallway outside the bed rooms, one in the living room area, all interconnected o Carbon monoxide detector o Exterior light fixture outside each exit door, with wall switch interior o Full kitchen o Range/oven - electric, 54,000 BTU's or greater o Refrigerator/freezer o Dishwasher o Microwave o Dual bowl sink o Pantry and assortment of wall, base and island cabinets o Open living room - 16.5'x14' or larger o Clothes washer and dryer area, with electric and water hook-ups provided o Unit to be insulated to Energy Smart Standards o Ceiling - R33 or greater o Wall - R11 or greater o Floor - R22 or greater Question Deadline 07/07/2023 at 3:00 PM Any questions related to the IFB shall be submitted to Willie Hantack, Purchasing Manager, at william.hantack@stcharlescitymo.gov.
