This project consists of replacing existing ADA facilities at various intersections along the following corridors: Sunshine Street between Kansas Expressway and Glenstone Avenue, Battlefield Road between Golden Avenue and Scenic Avenue, Battlefield Road between Kansas Expressway and National Avenue, Battlefield Road between Fremont Avenue and Glenstone Avenue, and National Avenue between Keamey Street and Sunset Street. Project includes approximately 5,000 sy of concrete ramps and 3,000 sy of ADA sidewalk. Project will also include installation of ADA push buttons. The contractor is expected to work simultaneously with the adjacent Mill and Overlay contractor, should worksites overlap. A certified or cashier s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages and/or Federal Davis-Bacon Wages whichever is higher. The owner will award this project to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to wave any irregularities in the best interest of the owner with MoDOT s consent.
