**As of August 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 5, 2023.** Ridgedale Avenue and Colonial Road Improvement. Full depth repair, hot mix asphalt surface course, and granite block curb installation. Work completion: December 15th, 2023; Paving and restoration completion: May 15th, 2024 (if weather conditions do not support paving before December 15th, 2023) Bids must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope with the bidder's name and nature of the bid contained therein. A Bid Security is required. Bidders must comply with applicable laws and regulations. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals. Bid Security required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Summit. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects, and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official advertising unaccompanied by such statement of price. The Contractor shall perform all work and furnish all materials, tools, labor, construction equipment, and permanent equipment except as otherwise specified, necessary, proper, and incidental, to the construction of all work requested in the Specifications, or ordered in accordance with the stipulations thereof; all to be in the manner, within the time, and for the consideration herein stipulated and agreed upon.
