No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or a certified check made payable to the PVSC in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000, executed by a Surety Company duly authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent construction performance bond, and a 100 percent construction payment bond, a maintenance bond, and an environmental maintenance bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Work to be performed under Contract No. B259 includes furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and other facilities required by the Contract Documents for the SECONDARY BYPASS AND SLUDGE TRAIN RECYCLES REROUTING PROJECT. Work includes, but not limited to, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground Bypass Structure, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground Bypass Flow Metering Vault, excavate for and install two new routes of piping to convey flow, demolition relocation and/or rerouting of several existing utilities, rerouted storm piping, North Bypass Connection Chamber, South Bypass Connection Chamber, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground Sludge Train Recycle (STR) box, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground STR Valve Vault, STR piping, Centrate Line Piping, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground Even Primary Effluent (PE) Screening Facility, demolish and reconstruct the OEM parking lot, excavate for and construct a new partially below-ground Odd PE Screening Facility, and demolish and reconstruct the lab parking lot.
