Demolish the existing Dockmaster and restroom buildings, and construct a new two-story building totaling approximately 1,880 sf per floor (3,760 sf total). This shall also include erosion and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The building will include restrooms; office space; electrical and mechanical rooms; and storage. Lighting and camera operations run through the existing Dockmaster's building. These services must remain operational during the demolition and new construction. Detailed requirements of the Scope of Work are specified in the Project Manual and Drawings electronically posted with this solicitation. Question Deadline 07/12/2023 at 1:00 PM ET The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including if the County determines any of the bid prices are significantly unbalanced to the potential detriment of the County, and to waive any informality, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the County. Unless canceled or rejected, a responsive bid from the lowest responsible Bidder shall be accepted as submitted; except if the bid from the lowest responsible Bidder exceeds available funds, the Purchasing Agent may negotiate with the apparent low Bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. The method of contractor has not determined at this time.
