General - This contract is for Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of the district High School auditorium rigging systems including fire curtains and smoke hatches. Inspections are to be done in accordance with ANSI E1.47 Entertainment Rigging System Inspections, detailed in Appendix 1. This scope will include all labor, equipment, and materials required to provide the work described in this specification to provide a complete turnkey source to inspect and repair stage rigging systems at three District schools. This contract also addresses specific repairs to be performed at the Coral Shores HS auditorium, specifically outlined in the price sheet and the 2022 CSHS Stage Rigging Inspection Report found in Appendix 2. Contractor should include the cost of any rental equipment like lifts in their pricing proposal. This contract does not include re-treatment of the curtains for fire proofing. A. Auditorium Sites - Sites shall include but not be limited to: 1. Coral Shores High School, 89901 Old Highway, Tavernier, FL 33070 2. Marathon High School, 350 Sombrero Beach Road, Marathon, FL 33050 3. Key West High School, 2100 Flagler Avenue, Key West, FL 33040 B. Site inspection is to be done by appointment only. Coordinate all site inspections by emailing Jeff.Barrow@keysschools.com . 8/22/2023 5:00 PM Last day for submission of written questions to MCSD Questions regarding the proposal should be directed by e-mail to Taylor Gandolfo - Buyer, at Taylor.Gandolfo@KeysSchools.com. All proposals must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days or until the MCSB approves the contract. The School Board will automatically reject the response of any person or affiliate who appears on the convicted vendor list prepared by the Department of General Services, State of Florida, under Section 287.133(3) (d), F.S. (1997). Recommendation to the District School Board of Monroe County will be based upon a proposal(s) that represent the best interest of the District and award of the contract will be deemed by the board to be in the best interest of Monroe County. The Monroe County School District reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities when it is in the best interest of the Board to do so.
