As of October 12, 2023, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Derby, Kansas ("City") is soliciting statements of qualifications for engineering services to study the existing conditions of and provide recommendations for the reconstruction of McIntosh Rd. from Madison to Meadowlark Rd. Each "Respondent" must submit three print copies and email to the address below an electronic copy of the Response Form along with associated documents to Derby City. Questions about this RFSQ must be submitted in writing to Alex M. Lane, P.E. at alexlane@derbyweb.com by July 7, 2023. Questions of a substantive nature will be answered in written form as an addendum and posted on the City's website July 12, 2023. Respondents are responsible for checking the website, signing up for project alerts and acknowledging any addendums in their response and for notification of award. City reserves the right to reject all proposals or responses or to cancel the RFSQ process or project. Attend initial meeting with City staff to discuss and determine design parameters and objectives. Attend other meetings as required to successfully complete the project Review aerial photography, topographic maps, ownerships, floodplains, utilities, proposed development areas, etc. to determine alternatives Perform cost analysis to determine most cost-efficient design Perform drainage analysis necessary to provide positive drainage within the project boundaries Provide all topographic surveying necessary for design Send plans to utility companies to identify potential conflicts and coordinate relocation work as required. Identify potential easements and rights-of-way to be acquired, if any, to accommodate the proposed alignment. Concept plans, shall include, but not limited to: title sheet, vicinity map, general notes, alignment, typical sections, plan/profile, grading, drainage concept, etc.
