Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates. General project work (Work) description: The project consists of installing a traffic signal at the intersection of Black Road and State Route 166 (SR-166), roadway widening along south side of SR-166 to accommodate right turn pocket and both sides of Black Road, drainage improvements, signage and striping, lighting, and utility relocations. This project is located on SR 166 from Post Mile (PM) 4.6 to PM 5.1 and along 1,000 feet of Black Road. The Bidder shall possess a Class A General Engineering Contractor license or a combination of Class C licenses which constitute the majority of the work in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division III of the Business and Professions Code at the time that the Bid is submitted. Failure to possess the required license(s) shall render the Bid as non-responsive and shall act as a bar to award of the Contract to any bidder not possessing said license. There will be no mandatory pre-bid meeting for this Project.
