The Hospital and Laundry Buildings Demolition project is being bid as a single project with two components, the demolition of the Hospital building and the demolition of the Laundry building, for award to a single contractor. Due to Fema funding and administrative requirements, separate contracts will be awarded for each building. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163. The Bidder shall certify that he is licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150, et seq. by including the name of the project and the name, address and license number of the Bidder on the bid envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
