The goal of the project is to remove the elevated floor so as to allow handicapped access to the area and remove the current two (2) step (13 inches) of elevation difference from the main floor. 1.2 The cabinetry and the existing counters will remain at their current height. One counter will need to be relocated from the middle of the work space to an adjacent wall. Additional shelving, painting of the entire space, and new VCT tile/base shall also be included in the project. The existing sheetrock walls shall also need minor repairs once the elevated flooring is removed.
