**As of August 4 2023, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All bids should reflect the use of the following materials: Fencing should be 4 high black vinyl coated chain link fencing 2" od line posts 2 1/2" od terminal post 1 3/8" od top rail All posts, top rails, and all other hardware should be all be black as well Three parks included in this project are as followed: Jaycee Park located at 2306 4th Street; 560 linear feet Rotary Park located at corner of 3rd and Maple Street; 259 linear feet K of C Tot Lot located on McKinley St between Davis and Alkali; 300 linear feet Bids should be quoted per linear foot. City workers will remove the existing wooden fencing prior to installation of new fencing. The City reserves the right to award all work in its' entirety or to break up the award to multiple bidders. The bidder must accompany their bid with a bidders bond, certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Wyandotte for the sum of not less than 5% of the amount. In the event the successful bidder fails or neglects to enter into contract with the City within 20 days of the date of the award, the bidders bond or certified or cashier's check shall be forfeited to the City Wyandotte as liquidated damages.
