The Burke County Board of Commissioners is accepting bids for the service, labor & materials required to remove and replace HVAC Rooftop Unit #7 of the Waynesboro Library building. Owner has an existing Aaon RM-008-3-0-AA02 Packaged Rooftop unit that needs replacement. Contractor to provide and install the systems as detailed below: Equipment: Install one new Carrier 2023 DOE Compliant Equivalent Equipment Model number 48FCDM07A2A6 6ton 2-stage Gas/Electric Package unit with EcoBlue motor, Phase Monitor, Condensate Overflow Switch, Louvered Hail/Coil Guards, Winter start control, and Ultra Low Leak Enthalpy Economizer. Install one GPS-FC48 self-cleaning Ionization device. Contractor is to provide all necessary equipment, disposal of old equipment, Adapter Curb, Crane Cost, Gas Piping per current code requirements, condensate drain piping, approved emergency condensate cut-off designed for use with the specified rooftop equipment, new disconnect and associated wiring, controls and control wiring, permits and fees, labor, etc. for a complete installation. Equipment to have 5 year all parts warranty, 1 year labor warranty, and 10 year heat exchanger warranty. Controls & Owner Training:Equipment must be integrated into the countys existing Carrier iVu Control System. Contractors bid shall include a new test and balance for this unit which should be completed by a certified third-party TAB company. Supply airflow to be at 2000CFM with 375CFM of outside air. Contractors bid shall include all electrical requirements for a complete operable system per code. Contractors bid shall include a new electrical disconnect and whip to new RTU. Contractors warranty shall cover the new equipment and associated work only for a period of 1 year. Manufacturer Equipment warranty to cover 5 year all parts including compressor and 10 year heat exchanger. Contractor to recover refrigerant per EPA guidelines. Alternate Manufacturers equipment may be considered with prior approval by owner. Alternate equipment submittals must be submitted at least one week prior to bid to be considered.
