Bidders are advised that the drawings and specifications will be available beginning Sealed Proposal will be received by the Wissahickon Valley Public Library for the following. No Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to be familiar with the building and the project scope. Visits to the site can be arranged and scheduled by contacting. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond shall be required in the amount of 25%. The work of the project is defined by the contract documents and consists of selective demolition of skylight and miscellaneous roof edge components, closing the opening with metalstructure and roofing. Membrane roof substrate and final covering will be installed with appropriate edge trim and new gutters and rainwater conductors. The Wissahickon Valley Public Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed in the best interest of the Library. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via the Clarifications feature within PennBid no later than July 7,2023 at 5:00 PM EDT The recovering of existing metal roof on libraiy building of approximately 23,000 square feet. Work includes the removal of existing skylight and replacement ofroofstructure in that area, replacement of gutters and related roof accessories and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
