Description: Maine Federal-Aid Project No. 2282300 WI N 022823.00; 2350900 WI N 023509.00 Location: In York County, the project is located on Route 1 in the town of Arundel. Outline of Work: Replace and upgrade traffic signals at two intersections: Route 1 at Log Cabin Road, and Route 1 at Limerick Road, with other incidental work. Project-specific questions using the electronic RFI form should be faxed to (207) 624-3431, attn.: Project Manager Brian Keezer. Questions may be emailed to R FI Contracts.MDOTtSmaine.gov - with project name and identification numbers in the subject line. Questions received after 12:00 Noon of the Monday before bid date will not be answered. For general information, call George Macdougall at (207) 624-3410. Bidders shall not contact other MaineDOT staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and MaineDOT will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TT Y users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by MaineDOT and accompanied by a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or U.S. postal money order for 5% of the bid amount, payable to 'Treasurer, State of Maine" as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100% of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal laws and to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements as set forth by MaineDOT.
